A ferocious storm system is pounding a huge swath of the West Coast with heavy rain, hurricane-force winds and power outages Friday with the worst expected during the mornings commute. At least two people were killed. As the storm moved south Friday, mudslides in the town of Camarillo Springs in Ventura County were reported to have closed roadways and left residents trapped in their homes, says The Weather Channel. VCscanner, a breaking news service in the county, tweeted reports of emergency calls from residents who were stuck in their homes as "large amounts of debris and heavy water flow is preventing crews from accessing homes."
