The safety of a local middle school was up for debate on Thursday. The concerns revolve around several cracks found in the Hunking Middle School in Haverhill. An entire wing of the school has been shut down and hundreds of students have been moved out. Parents have been complaining about the condition of the school for years and asking for a new building, but no one knew the problem was as bad as it is. Crumbling walls have led to a crumbling faith in the safety of the Haverhill school. “What happens next week if something else pops up? Im concerned,” said Kris Clark, a parent.
