Overspray Removal Specialists, Inc

Overspray Removal Specialists, Inc. is the nation’s premier national overspray claims management company. We were the first overspray removal company to be listed on the internet and we are a national service company with over fifty years in business. Overspray Removal Specialists has removed overspray from an estimated 300,000 vehicles. Our nationwide service has been providing overspray claims management services to insurance companies, third party administrators, contractors, chemical refineries, power plants, military bases, universities, schools, auto dealerships, businesses, and individuals throughout the nation, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Our five million dollar general liability insurance policy covers all of our onsite operations, and claim sites can be added to it as additional insureds.
For over fifty years Overspray Removal Specialists have removed paint, epoxies, urethanes, asphalt, tar, concrete, industrial fallout and other chemical contaminants from thousands of vehicles, boats and planes. These airborne emissions are created by the painting of water towers, refineries, industrial plants, buildings, ships, cranes, storage tanks, bridges, and other sources too numerous to mention. Our system not only preserves original paint finishes, it also, in most cases, avoids the need to replace the trim panels, moldings, glass and chrome parts. This can save our clients millions of dollars that would normally be paid to auto body shops, car dealerships, boat dealers and aircraft maintenance facilities.
Our crews are highly skilled and experienced and maintain safe practices on job sites. Our experienced field managers observe all the cleaning operations and the quality of work being done.
Most of our claims have involved hundreds vehicles covered by paint overspray on a claim site, and some claim sites have had a few thousand oversprayed vehicles cleaned by us; however, many of our claims involve just a single vehicle.
Our services include the removal of many types of airborne emissions such as: epoxy, urethane paint overspray, house paint, roofing foam, iron dust, cement splatters and cement sealer, refinery emissions, asphalt, tar, and graffiti from a large cross-section of oversprayed items such as: water towers, bridges, communication towers, waste water plants, power plants, chemical and oil refineries, shipyards, sports arenas, commercial buildings, post offices, and other painted structures. Our highly skilled technicians have been very successful at removing most types of overspray from: passenger and commercial vehicles, boats and yachts, airplanes, RV’s, SUV’s, ATV’s, motorcycles, mobile homes, trailers, commercial building and home windows and frames, farm equipment, buildings, signs, smooth siding, smooth metal roofs, solar panels, and even patio furniture.
We are highly specialized at removing overspray from vehicle molding, trim, and plastic parts that often are unable to be cleaned by other companies. Replacement of these parts can add thousands of dollars to an overspray claim’s liability, and in fact, can run thousands of dollars on a single vehicle. In most cases, Overspray Removal Specialists can clean these parts for a fraction of their replacement costs. Other companies often will either let the responsible parties and/or their insurance companies pay for the replacement of these parts, or these moldings and trim will be painted, without permission from the vehicle owner, and these parts will be left with the possibility they will eventually discolor and peel at a later date.
Most vehicles can be cleaned onsite in less than one day while their owners are at work, eliminating the need for expensive rental cars or the need for them to make special ride arrangements for pickup and delivery of their vehicles.
Paint overspray and other airborne emissions are safely removed from vehicle surfaces by our skilled technicians using our hand cleaning processes. Our unique rubber overspray eraser pads, exclusive to our company, can gently remove overspray from vehicle surfaces without any resulting damage. This process eliminates machine buffing with harsh compounds and solvents that can diminish the integrity of a vehicle’s paint and clear-coated surfaces will not be diminished, with their life expectancy shortened. After the overspray has been removed, the vehicle’s exterior is hand polished, waxed, and detailed.
If a vehicle is heavily covered with dense paint overspray, as might be the case with epoxy and urethane paint overspray emissions, and our eraser pads, along with removal methods that others have tried prove to be ineffective, we have an alternate safe hand removal process, that in most cases will be successful, referred to as shaving. This method of removal has been used successfully by our highly skilled technicians on thousands of vehicles, many of which were brand new at auto dealerships across the nation. The cost of wet-sanding and re-painting of oversprayed vehicles in auto body shops and auto dealerships is expensive. Our shaving process is a fraction of these costs and has saved insurance companies and painting contractors tremendous liability costs. Additionally, our shaving process leaves a vehicle’s original factory paint intact, which often is superior to a vehicle’s repaint job.
Our overspray removal processes are safe and will not affect the integrity of a vehicle’s original factory paint and other surfaces.
We pride ourselves on providing detailed and complete documentation that has been accepted by many major insurance companies. Every vehicle is inspected prior to its cleaning, and its pre-existing damage is noted on the vehicle’s work order which is signed by the vehicle owner and a copy of the work order is given to the vehicle owner before any work is started. A photo of each vehicle, for ID purposes, is attached to each work order with the vehicle’s license plate clearly showing in the photograph. On large vehicles, an additional photo showing the side view of the vehicle is also attached for billing purposes. After the vehicle has been cleaned and inspected by its owner and our onsite manager, the vehicle owner then signs a release of satisfaction witnessed and signed by our onsite manager. If there are any exceptions to the release, such as an uncleanable vehicle part, it will be noted on the work order for further consideration by the painting contractor and/or his insurance company. A copy of the release is given to the vehicle owner and a copy is given to the party engaging our services. All documentation is scanned into our data base and is backed up daily by a professional back up service and all hard copies are kept in files for ten years for possible review. This data can be sent by e-mail in a PDF format on request.
All of our work is guaranteed and we maintain an A+ rating with the National Better Business Bureau.
